Hello, I am Demi “Mac” Wasage, founder of Trek-Papua Tours & Travel Ltd. With a degree in English focusing on literature and Papuan oral folk songs, I created Trek-Papua in 2009 to promote tourism in Papua New Guinea.

I have traveled extensively across the Papua region, from highlands to coasts, collecting information about tourist spots and sharing it on our website. In 2020, I founded Partners with Melanesians Inc West Papua (PWM-WP), an NGO dedicated to forest conservation, culture, and eco-friendly tourism, while also working as an English teacher in Yalimo.
